Description

Introducing the only clinically proven program—steeped in ancient Chinese healing traditions—that has enabled hundreds of infertile couples to conceive. At Wu’s Healing Center in San Francisco, miracles are happening. Women and their partners come to the clinic—often from across the country-- to fulfill a passionately held yet fragile dream: to conceive and deliver the healthy baby that mainstream doctors have told them they cannot have. Using traditional Chinese medical techniques, sometimes integrated with Western fertility treatments, Dr. Angela Wu is helping these couples experience the miracle of birth. In this book, Dr. Wu details a proven 6-part self-care regimen that helps create the internal harmony and balance vital to conception. Her techniques not only enhance the results and reduce the side effects of in vitro and other Western fertility treatments, they also shorten labor and speed postpartum recovery. Babies benefit too, adopting regular sleep patterns more quickly and getting sick less frequently. At a time when one in five U.S. couples is struggling with fertility problems, this practical and uplifting volume, filled with the inspirational stories of Dr. Wu’s grateful patients, will be a godsend.

I've purchased and read a large number of infertilty books (over 25): some good, some useless, and some which offer unique enough information to become a part of my small collection. The rest I give away. This one is a real keeper. Good Chinese medicine diet tips (different from western diet tips) plus exercises, abdominal massage tips, success stories, acupuncture benefits, etc. Highy recommended!

This is an amazing book. Well written and a pleasure to read. Covers all of the things that I did to give birth to a gorgeous, perfect child 1 year after being told by Western fertility experts that this could never happen. I LOVE this book. Buy it, go for it ( find an acupuncturist, change your diet, follow the mind-body exercises ) and make sure to pass on the info.

This book is a must-read for anyone planning to become pregnant, whether you've had fertility complications or not. In helping readers understand how to better prepare ourselves (in body, mind, and spirit) to "attract new life," Dr. Wu succeeds in putting us on the path to good physical health in general. Almost everything you learn in this book - for men and women alike - is applicable to life after babies as well! You'll discover the benefits of eating a diet (recipes included) influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine. You'll get meaningful tips on how to harmonize your environment by clearing clutter. You'll learn exercises and acupressure techniques - all of these specifically to encourage vitality and fertility.

Reading this book was pure pleasure. While her self-references are always strikingly humble, it's clear from the authoritative tone and ample real-life case examples that this author is an expert in her field.

I have two beautiful children thanks to the fantastic treatment I received at Dr. Wu's Healing Center. This book will explain how medical treatment at her clinic transformed me from an "infertile woman" as the Western doctors described me, into busy mother of two little boys. The methods Dr. Wu uses often seemed strange to me. I still don't understand how it all works, but I don't know exactly how my fax machine works either. I simply know that it does. I am currently involved with my third round - hoping for baby #3. My story is in her book. My book name is Lila and my children are called John and Tanner. If you are struggling with infertility, read this book! Gotta go..crying baby! :-)

I have gone thru 3 failed IVF and 8 inseminations and speant over 60K. Heartache beyond compare! polluted my body with Chemicals! Had a miscarriage. Went into labor. Had a C-section. and the clincher no baby to show for all the abuse I put my body thru...Shall I go on. All for the sake of western medicine and if I had read this book 1st.Please give this a try you will be armed with invaluable information. Like any business go with someone who is highly recomended call your local accupuncture school, find someone who specializes in infertility. Educate yourself with what truly is going on with your body before you spend your heart& soul. there was no reason for me to not get pregnant, all my results were great FSH 5.5 cycle 27-28 days 14 day luteal phase great lining great hormone levels...at 40 pretty proud of my body, but after I used two different donors and didn't get pregnant with an 80-90% success rate. I new there was something else wrong and that wrong was found in eastern medicine...now we are working to resolve the issue and hopefully....I PRAY
